Looking for a CoverManager alternative for your restaurant?

If you are considering CoverManager alternatives, start with the work you need a reservation system to do.
You may want guests to book through your website, staff to see reservations clearly and availability to reflect your tables and service capacity. You might also need payments, marketing tools or connections to other hospitality software.
The right choice depends on which of those requirements matter to your restaurant.
This article explains where Table Harmony fits and what to compare before deciding.
What does CoverManager offer?
CoverManager describes a platform covering reservations, payments, guest CRM, loyalty, experiences and integrations with other hospitality systems.
That range may be valuable if you want several parts of your operation connected. Ask for a demonstration of the tools you would actually use and a quote covering your requirements.

Where does Table Harmony fit?
Table Harmony is a restaurant reservation system created using my experience running restaurants in Alicante and my background in IT.
It focuses on helping owners organise bookings and control how reservations are accepted.
Both plans include:
- Online reservations and bookings entered by staff.
- Table management and table combinations.
- Automatic table allocation, which staff can change.
- Booking requests and automatic confirmation.
- Booking durations and per-slot guest limits.
- Email confirmations.
- An English and Spanish interface.
If these are your main requirements, Table Harmony is worth including in your shortlist.
Compare the tools you will use during service
A useful comparison starts with everyday tasks.
Can staff quickly add a telephone booking, find a reservation, change the number of guests and check the table assignment?
Can they see important guest notes and understand which bookings are confirmed or awaiting approval?
In Table Harmony, staff-entered bookings do not require an email address or phone number. Staff can create a confirmed reservation using a name and the booking details. If an email address is included, a confirmation email is sent.
Try these tasks with your team before choosing any system.
Decide how you want online bookings accepted
Table Harmony lets you use automatic confirmation, booking requests or a combination according to party size.
At Patagonia, our approach is:
- 1–8 people: automatic confirmation when availability and rules allow.
- 9–12 people: requests reviewed before confirmation.
- More than 12 people: direct contact with the restaurant.
This gives smaller parties an immediate answer while allowing us to consider larger groups personally.
When comparing systems, ask each provider to demonstrate your preferred rules. Our article on booking requests and automatic confirmation explains this approach in more detail.
Compare the full cost
Table Harmony offers:
| Plan | Monthly price | Main distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Harmony | €20 plus IVA | Booking management and table management |
| Harmony Plus | €30 plus IVA | Adds a visual floor plan, custom questions, guest database, feedback and other features |
Neither plan charges commission on bookings. Our pricing page provides the full current breakdown.
For CoverManager, obtain a current quote for the package you need. Compare subscriptions, optional services, payment-related charges, setup and contract terms.
The purpose is to understand the total cost for your restaurant, rather than compare starting prices alone.
Check specialist requirements before choosing
If you need deposits, a particular payment service, a POS connection or another external integration, verify that requirement directly with each provider.
A system offering the booking tools you need may still lack a specific connection your restaurant relies on.
Table Harmony currently sends booking confirmations by email, not SMS. If SMS is essential to your operation, include that in your comparison.
Which approach suits your restaurant?
A broader platform can make sense when its connected tools solve real operational needs.
Table Harmony is worth testing if your priority is managing direct reservations, organising tables and setting clear booking rules at a published monthly price.
Neither approach is automatically right for every restaurant. Test a realistic service and let your team try the tasks they perform most often.
