Set the restaurant’s regular weekly opening hours and define when guests can make their final booking for each service.

Each weekday can contain one or more services, such as lunch and dinner.

Opening the opening-hours settings

Open Settings → Opening hours.

The page shows the services configured for each weekday. A day marked Closed does not currently have an active service available.

Adding a service

In the Add service section, select or enter:

  • Day: The weekday on which the service operates.
  • Service: The name used to identify it, such as Lunch or Dinner.
  • From: The time the service begins.
  • To: The time the service ends.
  • Last booking: The latest time at which a booking may begin.

Select Add to create the service.

A separate service can be added for each operating period. For example, a restaurant serving lunch and dinner can add both services to the same weekday.

Understanding the service times

From and To define the full operating period of the service.

Last booking controls the latest booking time offered to guests. It can be earlier than the end of the service so that the restaurant has time to accommodate the final booking before closing.

For example:

  • Service: 18:00–22:30
  • Last booking: 22:15

In this example, the restaurant remains open until 22:30, but no new booking can begin after 22:15.

The booking times offered within this period also depend on the restaurant’s booking-time interval, availability and other booking rules.

Editing a service

Select Edit beside a weekday to expand its service settings.

Staff can change:

  • Service name
  • Opening time
  • Closing time
  • Last-booking time
  • Active status

Changes are saved as they are made. Select Close to save the changes and collapse the editing row.

The Close button only closes the editing panel. It does not close the restaurant or deactivate the service.

Activating or deactivating a service

Use the Active switch to control whether the service can currently accept bookings.

When a service is inactive:

  • It cannot be booked online.
  • Staff cannot add new bookings to that service.
  • Existing bookings remain unaffected.
  • The service configuration remains saved and can be reactivated later.

Deactivating a service is useful when the restaurant wants to stop using a regular service temporarily without deleting its settings.

Copying a service to other days

Select Copy beside a configured day to copy that day’s service to one or more other weekdays.

Choose the destination days and select Copy.

Days that already contain opening hours are labelled has hours. Check these days carefully before copying so that the restaurant does not unintentionally create duplicate or overlapping services.

Closed days

A weekday displays Closed when it has no active service configured.

To open the restaurant on that day, add a new service or reactivate an existing inactive service.

Deleting a service

When editing a service, select Delete if its configuration is no longer required.

Use deactivation instead when the restaurant may want to use the service again later.

Overnight and overlapping services

Services can continue beyond midnight, and lunch and dinner services can be configured separately.

Make sure the service times and last-booking times accurately reflect when the restaurant can accept and accommodate reservations.
